Dare to Dream - TPT Sellers Challenge, Week 2

I'm joining in for week 2 of the TPT challenge, this week it's all about your dreams of what TPT can provide for you.

So here's what I hope that TPT will one day be able to help bring into my life:

So number 1 'A new computer'- this is a short term goal for me and my first one that I thought of when I first started my journey a few months ago.  My computer is on its last legs and I am hoping it lasts long enough for me to be able to replace it, especially as it's kind of important to help me continue my TPT journey!

Number 2  'Extra financial security'  As I'm am still waiting for my first classroom I am subbing at the moment.  This means work is not guaranteed and often very sparse, making money quite tight and puts extra pressure on the hubby.  It would be nice if TPT was helping to replace my income and make life easier and the worry about paying the bills less of an issue.

Number 3 'A home of my own'.  Hubby has had to move to another city for work, while I have stayed behind with our boys so not to disrupt their schooling.  As a consequence I am living with my parents, which has been a life saver for us, but I want my own home again.  I only have a few more years before my oldest will leave home for Uni, and before then I would like us to be in our own home and be a family unit again (with hubby visiting in the weekend).  So if I am able to get my own classroom my TPT income would then become extra and would allow for saving and getting us into our own home again.  I think there is more chance of this than a winning Lotto ticket somehow.

So that's my not so big and big dreams for my TPT journey,  How long it will take to get there is another story, but each little 'cha-ching' I hear on my phone brings a smile to my face.  In the meantime I am just enjoying the journey and creating things that I can use now as a sub and for my one day classroom and if others benefit - bonus!

  3. I loved reading your dreams. I can relate to the computer issue. I am nursing mine along for a bit longer. I could really use an updated model! I'm sure you'll get a full time job. . . patience is not easy, but good things come to those who wait. You can work this summer to find out how to sell yourself in an interview. Maybe some friends can give you a few mock interviews.
I'm sorry that your husband has to move so far away. I bet living at home with momsy and popsy is great on the budget, but I'm sure it can be trying at times. Your parents must really love having you so close. Keep your head up. You are not alone!

    1. Needs must sometimes and we made the decision based on what was best for our boys schooling, but it sucks a lot of the time ;). And as for the blog design - oh know - some of us have great taste *wink*

  5. Buying a new computer was my goal at the beginning of my TpT journey, too! I purchased in April and am so glad I did :) Yay for TpT giving dreams greater odds of coming true! Your dreams are great and I am sure that you will reach them!
